Approved by The California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, Diamond Light School of Massage offers six state-approved certification courses:

Massage Therapist Certification (150 hours)
Comprehensive basic massage training. This course fulfills State requirements for Professional Certification.

Advanced Bodywork Therapist Certification (250 hours)
Many places now require increased hours of training for professionals. If you are planning a career in bodywork, this level of Certification is recommended.

Energetic Healing Certification (150 hours)
An in-depth, transformational journey into the subtle, energetic, emotional and spiritual dimensions of healing.

Asian Bodywork Therapies (Acupressure) Certification (100 hours)
An in-depth training in the theory and practice of a variety of Asian Bodywork therapies, leading to State Approved Certification
(Massage experience not necessary)

Professional Bodywork Therapist Certification (500 hours)
Comprehensive advanced professional training in the Healing Arts. Includes all of the above

Obviously you will get plenty of hands-on training, but you will also study the theory behind the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy. Your in-depth education will cover the life sciences: human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology. The Massage Therapy program at Capri College is a rigorous academic experience with intense hands-on training in a soothing, practical environment.

Through the commitment and extraordinary experience of highly qualified instructors and through techniques that have proven effective healing agents over the centuries, this school is dedicated to training each student to integrate and utilize their entire being in helping others.

Upon graduation, students are well equipped to handle a variety of clinical complaints and to work in a wide variety of massage settings for a lifetime. The Institute is unique in that students can begin practicing massage after completion of their first sixteen weeks of schooling, whether or not they choose to complete the full 631 hour Massage Therapy Program.

World renowned qigong and bodywork masters are brought together in the Five Branches ABQ Massage Program. Of note are Sensi Tzvika Calisar and Master Mantak Chia. Sensei Tzvika Calisar has studied with some of the greatest Shiatsu teachers and practioners of Shiatsu in Japan, and has transmitted their knowledge and mastery through 12 centers worldwide. Master Chia created the Universal Tao system, a way to quickly access the essence of subtle practices that have been shrouded in secrecy for millennia. He is the author of dozens of books describing the theory and methods of these Taoist practices.

Hands-On Clinical Experience With TCM And Western Masters

The Five Branches ABQ Program directly immerses students at all levels of training in hands-on clinical work. The Clinician level of certification offers the highest level of clinical bodywork training available. Both TCM and Western faculty help students integrate both Eastern and Western approaches to the body into a successful system of bodywork and qigong for the promotion of optimal health care.

Gentle Healing School offers a 600 clock hour course in educational training in the art and science of massage. In this hands-on program you begin to understand the body from an anatomical and physiological perspective, as well as an emotional and spiritual one. This program expands your knowledge and heart in the field of the human body, mind, and spirit. In the ever expanding field of massage, Gentle Healing School of Massage graduates become professionals with a solid educational foundation, a rejuvenated outlook on life and a deeper perspective on personal growth.
