Dress Code and Policies

Proper attire includes scrub pants and a Blue Cliff College golf shirt for all classes (see “Fees and Tuition”). Modesty and good taste are considered the principle guideline for students while on campus. Standards of grooming, including hairstyle and dress, especially relating to clinic interaction, have been adopted and are discussed at orientation including the color of the scrub pants. All jewelry will be removed for hygiene and safety reasons when in clinic or technique classes.

It is the student's responsibility to comply with the dress code. Failure to comply with the dress code may result in reprimand, probation, suspension, dismissal, and/or required compliance (see “Student Responsibility”). Please check the bulletin board for policy updates.
Students will not be allowed to attend class and receive credit for time if the student fails to wear proper attire. There will be no exceptions, and anyone not following the dress code will not be allowed to participate in class and will not receive credit for attendance.

A specific dress code exists for Supervised Clinical Practice and must be followed at all times.

There will be no exceptions, and anyone not following the dress code will not be allowed to participate in the clinic and will not receive credit for attendance.
